General Discussion / Re: Application for HOF

still went undefeated then lost to lofs ****ty as team
mad?
Going full honesty here. sona, basically their entire defense and a portion of their offense, spiked left and right. Thunder, the rest of the offense, failed that series. BubbleGum was useless. Nobody else showed up for them. Wazza is by far one of the most overrated players in that time, he did nothing. Cole72 took advantage that sona saw 2% of the entire game, and rarely managed to get the ball on the other side. Possession wise, skill wise, chemistry wise, offensively, defensively, the Tornadoes were absolutely nothing in comparison to the Penguins. That being said, the Penguins spent most of their time during the regular season on defense. In that series, they only played offense, with a few spurts every few minutes of defense. On any other given host, the Tornadoes would have been massacred beyond repair, Wazza would leave early, Cole72 would leave play, and the Tornadoes would have basically become some other entity.
What are you talking about the first time we made playoffs was as GTA golden eagles with me, Barca and Kentucky and it was a very even series except for the last game.  The second time was when the Tornadoes finished first and never played PP.  Our starting lineup at that time was Mirage, Sexy bagel, and me or slothy as the third.  Only thing is, in the finals vs NH Mirage and I were both laggy af and bagel didn't show, resulting in 3 1 goal losses.  We destroyed our first round opponent in 2 games by the scores of 7-2 and 3-0.

Learn your facts bro.
Making sure you get benched for that end rude comment.

I honestly do not think it could be any more obvious other than basically removing everything from the front page and making it the draft sign-up.

Yes to both.

Cuba experiences cyclones frequently during the summer.
Ottawa has tornadoes during the summer as well.

There are few kangaroos in Kingston.
There are nearly no matadors in Manchester.
No cyclones happen in Cincinnati.

You localized the teams, but now they have no meaning.

I looked into some history, and Geneva never really had gladiators.

Might this be the return? Follow the steps still.

For this league for advertising:

  • Do NOT leave rooms open for long periods of time, this causes more of an eyesore at first, and will become ignored later
  • Open rooms with the league name involved somewhere, or stating the cause for the room (ie. HCD draftee room)
  • Leave rooms open for a maximum of 5 hours during the periods of 12 pm-5 pm Eastern and 7 pm-12 pm Eastern on all possible days
  • Only play the game mode (in this case, 3v3 Big) that the league uses, no changing for any reason unless there are few people
  • Do NOT host within the hours of 5 pm-7 pm Eastern, this is the "dead time" to avoid when hosting if hosting for large periods of time
  • Leave other leagues alone, you will only become a laughingstock league for the moment
  • Provide experienced players with positive influence to rooms, this creates a relaxed room atmosphere
  • Always host league-related rooms during the expected game times of the league
  • Talk about the league within other rooms
  • Make sure every person in the management is providing a positive attitude towards players

so why dont you start with advertising then? If we get enough people we will be able to start up sometime in december (im kinda overloaded with school term papers n tests so I dont have much time for haxin, but once december rolls around, the term is p much over (there is a week or two of exams, but only 3 or 4 days of classes)
You still need to work on these:

  • Have staff on hand beforehand
  • Look to people and see for any extra suggestions beforehand
  • No overloading a person - make sure there are enough people always ready to organize
  • Try to condense arguments - do not let yourself go on tangents against people
  • Keep yourself rational - do not try to argue a point where only opinion is of importance
  • Maintain respect towards your populace
If you can complete these, I will begin the advertisement process.

It is very simple to fulfill these.
For the first three, just add or return a couple of trustworthy people to the league administration.
For the last three, just say fine and follow up with it. It is very simple to control yourself when talking to members, just remember you are the authority.

This is something I tried to set up when I was the commissioner of the short-lived HaxVolleyball League in SPHB, but could not because of drone starting the league almost immediately.

I combined creation and revival because when a league is dying or has died, there will be some major change or changes made to get it up and running again. A reviving league may or may not skip some steps.

Step 1 - Plant the Foundation

  • Make up a list of rules, regulations, and processes
  • Plan out the league structure and system making it relatively simple so changes can be added further on
  • Make sure that many things you built up work and lead to/are in correct places
  • Have staff on hand beforehand

Step 2 - Create Organization

  • Save what is necessary in a format you can understand and easily comprehend
  • Make all schedules prior to commencement
  • Have all possible consequences, rewards, statistics, standings, etc. already made
  • Look to people and see for any extra suggestions beforehand
  • No overloading a person - make sure there are enough people always ready to organize

Step 3 - Practice Communication

  • Try to condense arguments - do not let yourself go on tangents against people
  • Keep yourself rational - do not try to argue a point where only opinion is of importance
  • Maintain respect towards your populace
  • Do not let yourself be intimidated from an otherwise unpopular decision, no decision changes unless you go for it
  • Always think about what your league has been leaning towards, but do not instantly gratify it

Step 4 - Increase Population

  • Advertise intelligently, do not advertise consistently, this will actually reduce interest, look for major times
  • Make yourself likable - this keeps the image that the league is a friendly place
  • Small talk with members around others - this gives the image that the league has some popularity
  • Develop true claims that could potentially spark interest (ie. "join this exciting league, reviving very quickly")

Step 5 - Develop Authority
  • Keep management in order - anyone not following what they were told to do or doing more than they should do should be given the necessary consequence
  • Keep populace in order - anyone caught doing what was given beyond their own privilege should be given the necessary consequence
  • Set precedents that do not bias towards a specific group
  • Do not believe you are the ultimate authority - allow for all major management to make decisions alongside you

Step 6 - Think Ahead
  • Law of diminishing marginal utility - recognize your league will not continuously rise in population at a steady rate, and how satisfaction will go down after some time
  • Create future population - advertise to those out of your realm, attract from many other regions
  • Plan out possible changes and introduce them according to demand

And about the pengs , pretty sure sona and jefe don't stand a chance against the nikka p , luk and zelos trio..

watch every game they played together they won games by more than 10 goals each time they played together
Possession will always calm down a high powered quick offense if they play it right.

yeah but i was the one who recruited nikka p zelos robbie js geof and daffy

ss   ;)
It was already a cup-fighting team when I left, and the only GM/recruiter combo in the league was alexa, who failed in the two times I had a cup-fighting team in the playoffs. Also, you had no Penguins to face, which was honestly the best possession team in the league for 3 consecutive seasons. You still did amazing, though.

I left him with the team imo
